I did received a few inquiries on the total cost I paid for my hair transplant.
Understand $$$ is the most important deciding factor, I decided to list down everything I paid so far in one place for your easy reference.
1. Consultation
> Totally free of charge! Strongly recommend to go for one.
(click here to book a consultation)
2. Transplant Procedure
> 3,000 grafts x RM 8 per graft = RM 24,000
*After Raya promotion 20% discount = RM 19,000
> Free one PRP treatment
*Additional PRP treatment costs RM 1,000 per session
3. Medication
> Combo Hair Gel (Minoxidil+Finasteride) = RM 350 (lasts 3 months)
> Foltene Phama Hair Shampoo = RM 100
> Supplements: Biotin & Omega 3 = RM322 (lasts 3 months)
*After GNC member discount = RM 216
In total, I paid RM 19,666 for consultation (RM 0), procedure (RM 19,000) & medication (RM 666).
On medication, you might save further by using shampoo from other brand (ex. Dove) and separate usage of Minoxidil & Finasteride (option 1 in my previous post). On top of that, supplements are kind of optional but it's better to check with doctor in advance. You may also opt for cheaper charge per graft by other clinic (check out my previous post on price comparison).
Hope this helps! Ask me if you have any other inquiry. Thanks for your time! Cheers~

Hi, is the Foltene Pharma Shampoo recomended by the doctor? Is the shampoo good based on your experience after using it?
ReplyDeleteHi, yes it's recommended by doctor. I have been using it since then...feeling good so far. I only shampoo once in 2 days since my hair is not that long and we stay at home most of the time. Thanks for coming here :)
