Day 75 (2.5m) after Procedure

Can't believe it's only been two and a half month since my transplant procedure.

Not much different from last week but I did trimmed the hair on front line a bit.



 Front and sides view. If you look closer, you will find quite a number of baby hairs.

I decided to skip the donor area view since it will be covered up as long as you keep the hair long.

    Hi bro, nice to see your progress there. It gives me hope that at least i can do hair transplant to have my hairline back. I am very young though, but my hair losses pretty much. My i know which clinic you went for transplant, im considering klinik glojas as they have smart fue and lots of positive reviews. And would like to ask whether the transplanted area have tendency to fall back again? Thanks

    Sorry to hear on your hair loss. I went to DHI Clinic for my hair transplant. You can find it in my previous post (https://tomshairtransplantjourneymalaysia.blogspot.com/2019/06/the-day-of-procedure-with-photos.html). On your second inquiry, according to doctor, the transplanted area will stay as long as you keep it nutritious, meaning feeding on medication: supplements, Minoxidil & a good shampoo. Just like a plant will live if you keep watering it. Hope my answer helps ^^

Day 371 (1 Year !!!)

Hope everyone is doing fine. It is really shocking how one virus can affect so many things and even changed the way we live. The biggest take away for me is to live life to fullness because you won't know when will be the last... Ok back to progress. I have taken some photos back in June where it hit a year since my surgery and here they are. It definitely changed the landscape of my hair and also my overall look especially from the front. Implanted hair feels less disrupting now and become more natural compared to before. It may sound cheesy but I do feel more confident in front of people...this is by far the best decision I ever made in my life...for real. Not trying to promote anything but now might be even a better time to get transplant as we are spending most of the time at home which create a perfect time to let the hair grow and surprise others with new look after this pandemic is finally over. Day 324 (10+ Months)

So much has happened over the past few months. Hope everyone is safe and coping well with the 'New Norm'. We will get through this together! It's almost 11 months now since my hair transplant procedure back in Jun last year. Was planning to have another PRP session last month but got stuck at home instead. Anyway let's see some photos update.  Hair on the front is growing really well over time, especially the middle front area where most of the healthy hair follicles were planted. It's definitely noticeable now on how long the hair had grown. Transplanted hair seems to be a little bit thicker than original hair around and can be styled just like normal hair. Will need more work on the crown area to balance out the overall hair density. It's a slow process but I am glad it is making progress. Everything's been good so far. Day 207 (6.9 months)

Happy New Year folks!!! 2020 is here!!! Feeling excited cause there's lot that I want to share :) First of all, photos. It's approaching 7 months now since my transplant procedure. The transplanted area grows really well...in fact, I can even have 'hairstyle' now which was totally impossible few months back before the transplant. As the transplanted area grows thicker, the crown area looks comparatively 'empty' which lead to my second point: What should I do with the crown area? I did consulted doctor 2 weeks back when I visited clinic for a follow-up session. There are a few options available but I think I will go with 3 or 4 more PRP treatments (doctor suggested once every two months) and then scalp micro pigmentation , which is some kind of hair tattoo. This tattoo will create an illusion of thicker hair density, in a harmless way and will last for 4 to 5 years. This is also the most 'budget' way to achieve bett...
